TOURNAMENT CHAMPS!!!

All season long, the 7th Grade Boys Basketball season fought hard in every single game. Some games they proved to be too much for their opponents while other games they had to dig deep to pull put a victory. That grit and toughness paid off as the 7th Grade Boys capped off a remarkable season by defeating Worthington Christian 29-19 to win the Central Buckeye League Tournament Championship. This was the 3rd matchup between the two schools with each school winning on their home court during the regular season. This matchup however took place at Columbus Academy as they were the tournament hosts. The two teams were also the top 2 seeds in the tournament with Bexley being the #1 overall seed and earning the 1st Round bye. Bexley defeated tournament host and rival, Columbus Academy in the semi-finals, while Worthington Christian defeated Buckeye Valley to make it to the championship game. With the win, the 7th Grade Boys Basketball team finishes with an amazing record of 13-3. This also marks the 2nd straight year that the 7th Grade team has won the Central Buckeye League Tournament Championship. Next year, they will look to repeat as CBL Tournament Champs, but as 8th graders.
