Bexley Middle School Girls Summer Basketball 2005

 

For girls attending BMS during the 2005-2006 School Year

 

 

It’s time to begin thinking about summer basketball activities, and we hope you’re excited about the opportunity to get on the court!  We highly encourage all interested girls to participate fully in these activities.  This allows the team to learn to play together and grow even closer.  We know that other commitments like family activities and financial obligations can prevent this, but if a majority of players can commit to an activity, we will proceed.

 

We would like the girls to be involved with the following programs.  We know that this is a significant commitment of time and money, but we want offer many opportunities to play. 

 

1)      Bexley High School Fundamentals Camp.  June 21st to June 24th.  Flyer attached.  Cost:  See attached flyer.  Forms:  See attached flyer. 

 

2)      Gahanna Middle School League.  Wednesday evenings in June and July, probably starting with June 15th.  Cost:  Depends on number of participants (about $30).  Coach will collect at a later time.  Forms:   Front and back of attached form.  Return to coach.

 

3)      Wilmington College Camp.  July 15th and 16th (two days, one night).  Cost: Depends on number of participants (about $50).  Coach will collect at a later time.  Forms:  See attached brochure.  You only need to fill out the  “Player Registration and Waiver Form” top and bottom.  Return to coach.

 

4)      Ohio Sports Plus Shoot-out (tournament).  Worthington.  June 24-26.  Cost:  Depends on number of participants (about $30).  Coach will collect at a later time.  Forms:  None at this time.

 

Traditionally, Bexley girls have also enjoyed attending camp at Capital, Ohio State, and other universities.

 

Please let Coach Melville know your intentions for the Summer by May 2nd.

Incoming 7th graders:              Wednesday, 6/1, 4pm to 6pm at the Middle School.

                                                Thur, 6/9, 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Maryland.

                                                Wednesday, 6/15:  10:30pm to 12pm, Maryland.

 

Incoming 8th graders:              Monday, 6/13, 6pm to 8pm, Middle School.

                                                Tuesday,  6/14, 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Middle School.

                                                Wednesday, 6/15, 9am to 10:30am, Maryland.
