Cancer
Benefit Concert featuring Urban Transit
Thursday, May 15, 2008 - Doors open at 6:30pm
$15.00 General Admission - All Ages -
Newport Music Hall (1722 N High St. Columbus, Ohio)
All proceeds will go to James Cancer Hospital
Opening Artist: Scarlet Kings, Drew Davis
All
of the music is light pop/rock and pop/country. The bands can
be compared to The Fray, John Mayer and Rascal Flats.
As you might have heard, Joe Brunetto, a Great Father, Husband,
Brother, Buckeye Fan and Resident of Bexley, passed away March
26th. In his memory, Joe's two sons--Dante and Joey--and their
band, Urban Transit, will perform a benefit concert. Also at the
concert there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going
to the James Cancer Hospital. Items will include an autographed
football from former Buckeye Anthony Gonzalez, a clothing makeover
from a local fashion company, an autographed jersey from Eddie
George and many other great items. We have 1650 tickets to sell
and Urban Transit would like to raise as much money as possible.
So please spread the word and come to our Benefit concert. All
money will go to the Stephanie Spielman Fund at The James Cancer
Hospital. If you would like to buy tickets, please send an email
to Matthootrubin@aol.com
and put "Benefit Concert" in the subject line. Or forward
this email to people you think would want to attend. Please leave
your contact information and the number of tickets you would like,
and I will call you so that we can get you your tickets.

IMPORTANT POLICY CHANGE!
All Athletes and Parents Please Read.
The Bexley City Schools have revised the drug/alcohol eligibility policy for athletics and all extracurricular activities! The major changes include: 1. Expanding eligibility requirements to be applicable to ALL extracurricular activities, not just athletics. 2. Changes to denial of participation periods. 3. New language in regard to reinstatement possibilities. 4. A new acknowledgement form that must be signed before participation.

The Athletic Sportsline has been established
to provide Bexley parents and fans with round-the-clock information on events,
times, directions, etc. in the Bexley sports arena. Each day events and
directions are available after 10am. Updates/cancellations due to weather
conditions, etc. are made after 2pm. If weather seems to be a factor wait till
later in the day to call. The most up-to-the minute schedules can be found by
going to clinking on the link schedules powered by schedule star. Any changes
made during the day will show up on this website.
