Kate Marschner Makes USA Swimming's Academic All-American Team
GCSTO Swimmer Kate Marschner was selected as part of USA Swimming's Academic All-American Team for the 2006-2007 short course season. This award is based on her scholastic standing and her swimming achievements (qualifying for and competing in a USA Sectional meet and / or higher). Kate got her short course sectional cuts in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke and competed in the 2 sectional meets this year, March and July. In additions, she has her long course sectional cut in the 100 breaststroke and is only .5 of a second away from the short course cut for 50 free.
